We decided to have our drive extended and couldn't be more impressed with the work carried out. We choose to have resin, which looks really good. The men were a good bunch, not only polite but worked very hard and left no mess. I would definitely recommend them.

Really pleased with my new resin bound driveway fitted by Oakleigh Driveways. Alex, Dean, Shaun and Alec were a pleasure to work with. It’s always an anxious time having such a large project done but the lads worked their socks off, were polite and also very mindful of not causing unnecessary disruption to my neighbours. The finished result exceeds expectations and I would definitely recommend.
Nearly two years ago, we hired Oakleigh Driveways to install our driveway and garden patio. Alec came to provide a quote and assured us that we wouldn’t have to pay until the job was completed. This was especially reassuring given the negative experiences we had previously with other traders. After discussing our concerns about maintenance and the potential for weeds, Alec convinced us to opt for block paving, guaranteeing that no weeds would grow in the grout.At first, things seemed promising. Sean and Lennon, the workers on the project, were diligent and worked hard on the garden patio. However, about a week into the job, they requested payment. We reminded them that Alec had promised no payment until the work was finished—a promise he had put in writing. They called Alec, who came over and threatened to halt the project and remove everything if we didn’t pay immediately. Fearing that the work wouldn’t be completed, we reluctantly paid.Initially, the driveway looked great, but just a couple of weeks later, a heavy downpour revealed a significant issue: water pooling in one corner of the driveway. I took photos and sent them to Alec, who assured me it was a quick fix and that someone would be sent to address it. Despite numerous calls and messages, no one has ever come to fix the problem.A few months after the driveway was completed, weeds began growing between the paving stones—exactly what Alec had guaranteed wouldn’t happen. I tried contacting Alec, but he never answered my calls. When I called the main company, they said Alec was the one responsible for our area and that I should deal with him directly. I sent photos of the weeds and the water pooling via email. Alec responded a couple of times, promising to send someone, but unsurprisingly, no one ever showed up.In addition, the patio at the back has also developed issues, with weeds growing through the grout and some of the side pavers cracking due to a lack of proper support underneath.We’ve since had to hire another contractor to fix these issues. Given the significant amount of money we paid, we expected Oakleigh Driveways to stand by their work and resolve these problems. Unfortunately, they did not. This is a warning to anyone considering them for their driveway or patio—be cautious.

The guys who installed it worked tremendously hard, they were polite and friendly., We did have a few communication difficulties but they were sorted out. The Resin drive looks fantastic, love the colour, the fact that it is porous and that no grit is being trailed into the house. So overall delighted with it.
We have had our drive block paved by Oakleigh Driveways and couldn’t be happier. From start to finish it was a plain sailing experience. Dean was so easy to deal with and friendly with, he is a credit to the company. Oakleigh driveways were incredible efficient and transformed my front garden into a driveway in around 2 working days. Within 2 hours they had everything ripped out and within the second day had it ready and the tarmac on it. The guys were very lovely and respectful. The process couldn’t have been simpler, Dean was very efficient. They kept the area clean and tidy every day and were respectful of the neighbours when they were asking questions about the shared fence. I would absolutely use them again in the future and I would recommend them to anyone (especially if you want it done simple and quick!)
I am Katie’s said neighbour, when she told me that they were having their drive done, I was elated and it came at the right time for me to jump on the band wagon whilst it was rolling, I was so excited as this came as a surprise that I didn’t have to wait for and I was buzzing.Dean and his team were really friendly and professional, an absolute joy to have them around for several days, we are all really happy with the entire process and the finish is better than we’d hoped for.Thank you so much and I would definitely recommend, as I also feel that they are competitively priced and will do any work you’d like. Dean and his team have been absolutely amazing! From start to finish they have been nothing but polite and gracious. whilst our driveway was being started my neighbour requested hers to be done too, this did not faze dean and his team, they got straight to work on that too (as we share access to both driveways it just made sense to do them both together) this didn’t stop or slow them down from working on ours though! Excellent customer service from all team members. When we first contacted dean we had a vision, but what they have given us has completely blown us away! Would 100% recommend. Turned my jungle front garden into a clean block paved driveway . The lads worked non stop to get the job done in 4 days. They did a charcoal block paved drive which included a soakaway, recessed man hole cover, border, tarmac strip at the front and followed the proper procedure for the sub base. The before and after pictures don't do it justice. Also this was the cheapest quote for a 136 square meter driveway. Highly recommend. Work was carried out in trowell.
